If you can already handle simple interactions but want to stop overthinking every sentence, you are in the right place. This intermediate course is designed to help you transition from just "knowing" Italian to actually feeling it, in a relaxed and supportive environment. As an language learner myself, I know how frustrating that "intermediate plateau" can be—when you know what you want to say, but the words won't come out. In my 11+ years of teaching, I’ve structured my lessons to break through that barrier. No lecturing; just active, fun, and interactive practice. With a maximum of just 8 students, our group is intimate enough to ensure you get plenty of speaking time and personalized feedback, while building connections with fellow English speakers who share your passion. Imagine traveling to Italy and doing more than just ordering food. By the end of our 10 weeks together, you will be able to: - Share your story: Comfortably talk about your past experiences, favorite memories, and life events. - Express your opinions: Debate topics, share ideas, and talk about your future dreams and plans. - Sound more local: Use natural phrasing and understand native speakers even when they talk at a normal pace. - Connect: Understand the cultural nuances that make Italian so beautifully unique. We will work together in enriching your vocabulary and smoothing out your grammar through practical, real-life topics: Mastering Time: Learning how to weave between the past, past continuous, and simple future to tell seamless stories. The "Real" Italian: Discovering idiomatic expressions and popular slang that you won’t find in traditional textbooks. Culture & Lifestyle: Immersing ourselves in Italian history, art, regional food, and traditions to give context to your learning. Conversation: Engaging in tailored role-plays and interactive debates to build fast reflexes. Details of the Course: When: Every Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM UK time Duration: 10 lessons (90 minutes each) – Starting late September, ending early December. Where: Online via Zoom.
