Hello, I am Paola

I’m a native Italian speaker with over 11 years of teaching experience, both in language schools and through private lessons.

I started teaching in Italy as a private tutor, and later moved to Bristol, where I worked at a language school teaching Italian to adult learners (from beginners to intermediate levels), as well as Business Italian for a food company.

Alongside teaching, I’ve also worked as an Italian translator and proofreader for companies in the United States and the UK, including a medical company in Oxford. I was also an examiner for the Cambridge (CIE) IGCSE Italian.

Since 2015, I have been based in Oxford, working mainly as a private tutor. After a short break in 2020–2021 to become a mum, I resumed teaching and continue to work with students from different backgrounds and with different goals.
