Welcome to my Italian Online Beginner Course! My approach is simple: learning a language should be enjoyable and not stressful. In my classes we use games, practical activities, and real-life situations to help you learn Italian step by step in a relaxed and friendly way. I know how challenging learning a new language can be because I went through the same experience myself. Over the years, as a teacher, I’ve learned that students progress best when they feel comfortable, supported, and free to practice without fear of making mistakes. Classes take place in small groups, so everyone has time to speak, ask questions, and receive personal attention. You’ll also have the chance to meet and practice with other learners who are starting the same journey as you. By the end of this course, you will be able to understand and use basic Italian in everyday situations. You’ll learn how to introduce yourself and others, ask simple questions, and have short conversations with native speakers when they speak slowly and clearly. You’ll also be able to talk about yourself, your family, where you come from, what you need, and make simple plans for the future. During the course we will work on: • The basic structure of Italian sentences, including personal pronouns, present tense verbs (regular and irregular), adjectives, and useful everyday vocabulary. • Definite and indefinite articles, simple and compound prepositions, and how nouns change with gender and number. • Vocabulary organized by themes, with practical activities and role-play to help you use the language in real situations. • Once you feel comfortable with the basics, we will also introduce the Present Continuous and the Gerund. • How to ask questions, form negative sentences, and use possessive adjectives. Classes take place on Mondays from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
